Well, it's been a while since I've worked with a proper j-pop anthem's vocals, but when I was asked to participate in the Net Label compilation I decided "why not dust off an old classic?" Heavenly Star is actually one of the earliest tracks I ever remixed with SenPi about a decade ago, under our old moniker of Mnemosyne. So revisiting that idea, I wrote brand new melodies and sections while keeping the old riff we wrote and using all of the production techniques I've learned over the years.
